What Clients Are Saying About Us:

He's a Family Doctor

I simply wanted to take a minute to acknowledge how impressed my family has been with Frisco West Animal Medical Center and Dr. Chris Tucker’s personal efforts, care, and attention to our canine family members. I can not overemphasize our sincere appreciation for the unparalleled support he and his staff have shown us over the years.

First and foremost, he’s a family doctor, he’s part of our family. When one of our dogs struggled to cope with various ailments and illness after 13 years, Dr. Tucker was there to walk us through the facts, choices, and then set our expectations. When our second dog began to show signs of the same struggle years later at age 14, Dr. Tucker was there again to set expectations but also to aggressively begin treating what we could in order to manage our pet’s quality of life. In the end, Dr. tucker was there to assist us in transition and even now continues to serve and support our family with our third family pet, a young and vibrant 1 year-old puppy.

Frisco West Animal Medical Center is a joy to visit each month for grooming and regular pet care... it’s a well run practice. People, not machines, answer the phones and they also have an incredible website. The staff is first class...always cheerful, nice, and polite. They remember people’s names, and they are all people you’d actually want to spend time with!

With the utmost sincerity, I'd like to thank Dr. Tucker and all those involved in making our pet care experience so memorable. He’s the reason my 9-year-old daughter wants to become a vet.

Extremely Pleased

We moved to Frisco from Atlanta in December of 2009.  We have four Bernese Mountain Dogs and even before we moved here, I visited Frisco West Animal Hospital to see if this was the veterinarian I would trust to care for our dogs.  I met Dr. Chris Tucker and his staff and got a complete tour of the facilities and all that Dr. Tucker's practice offered to our dogs.  We have been extremely pleased with the professionalism of Dr. Tucker and his staff.  They really take an interest in our dogs and they want what's the best treatment and care for our dogs, but also they are aware of the costs associated with the different treatments needed.  Dr. Tucker and his staff have cared for our dogs in their various stages of life and the different ailments that go along with their ages.  We took our eight week old puppy to Dr. Tucker so he could assess the quality of our new puppy. He is now a healthy and thriving one year old.  And we recently had to make the decision to put down our oldest dog at age fourteen.  Dr. Tucker and his staff made sure that our dog and our family were comfortable and knowledgeable with the whole procedure.  He made a very difficult situation and decision into a very serene and dignified end to our dog's life.  We also do rescue for Bernese Mountain Dogs and have taken any new foster dogs we get to Dr. Tucker so that he can assess their health and if they have any problems, get them healthy before they go to their permanent home.  We have recommended Dr. Tucker to many of our neighbors and friends.  They, too, have been extremely happy with the care and dedication Dr. Tucker shows for each and every pet he sees.
I would also like to add that Dr. Tucker has a wonderful groomer on staff, Kandy.  We have taken our Berners to many groomers in the past, but Kandy is the best groomer we have come across.  She does a wonderful job with our dogs and they have never looked better when I come to pick them up at the office.
We are so glad that our dogs are in the care of Dr. Tucker and his staff.  We know that they are getting the best and most up to date care in the veterinary field.
